Two divisions

One export house, two very different trades

Fabric is a volume business measured in metres and containers. Diamonds are a precision business measured in carats and certificates. We run them as separate desks, with separate quality controls, under one export licence.

Woven and knitted fabric, finished garments and made-ups, sourced from the mills and processing houses of Surat and shipped to importers, wholesalers and private-label brands.

The company

A small house, deliberately

KR Export is an export house in Surat, Gujarat, supplying textiles and diamonds to importers overseas. We are not a marketplace and not a directory listing — you get one named contact who stays with your order from the first specification to the document set on dispatch.

That is a deliberate choice. Large trading companies route you through a sales desk, a merchandiser and a shipping clerk who never speak to each other. We keep it to one person who knows what you ordered and what was promised, because that is where most import problems actually start.

How we work

What happens between your enquiry and your shipment

Five stages. You are told which one your order is in, and nothing moves to the next until you have approved the last.

Enquiry

You send the specification, quantity and destination port. We confirm feasibility, usually the same working day.

Sampling

Swatches or a counter sample are couriered for approval. Nothing goes into production before you sign it off.

Quotation

A written proforma invoice with unit price, MOQ, Incoterm, lead time and payment terms. No verbal pricing.

04

Production & QC

Goods are inspected against the approved sample before packing, with photographs shared for your record.

Docs & dispatch

Export documentation prepared, freight booked, and the full document set sent to you on dispatch.

Most import problems are not manufacturing problems — they are paperwork problems and specification drift. Both are avoidable, and both are our job rather than yours.

Before you enquire

What is your minimum order quantity?

It depends entirely on the article. Fabric MOQs are usually set per colour and per quality by the mill; diamond parcels are set by sieve size and assortment. Send your specification and the MOQ is stated in writing on the quotation, before you commit to anything.

Which Incoterms do you work on?

FOB, CIF and CFR are the usual ones. EXW and DDP are possible on request. If you are not sure which suits you, say so on the enquiry form and we will quote FOB and CIF side by side so you can compare.

What are your payment terms?

Terms are agreed per order and stated on the proforma invoice. Advance against proforma and irrevocable letter of credit are both common. We will not begin production before terms are agreed in writing.

Can I get samples before ordering?

Yes, and we recommend it. Swatches or a counter sample are couriered for your approval, with courier cost confirmed beforehand. Bulk production is matched against the sample you signed off.

Can we arrange our own inspection?

Yes. You are welcome to nominate a third-party inspection agency, and we will coordinate access before packing. We also share our own pre-shipment photographs and inspection report either way.

Do you supply private-label goods?

For textiles, yes — your labels, tags, folding and packing specification. For jewellery, hallmarking and stamping are handled per your destination market's rules. Confirm the requirement at quotation stage so it is costed in.
